Capital Pups Rules & Code of Conduct 2025

I. General Code Of Conduct

  • All Capital Pups spaces—online and in person—are governed by respect, consent, and safety.
  • You must be 18+ to participate in any Capital Pups event or online community.
  • No illegal activity under Ontario or Quebec law.
  • No bullying, harassment, or insults.
  • No intrusive jokes or comments based on identity or kinks.

II. In-Person Code of Conduct

1. Consent & Behavior

  • Never assume it's okay to touch, flirt, or play with someone—ask first.
  • No means no. This applies to physical touch and verbal communication.
  • Touching specific gear (collars, locks, tails, etc.) requires explicit permission.
  • Do not play while impaired by drugs, alcohol, or exhaustion.
  • Don't intrude on others' scenes—respect open vs. closed doors.

2. Safewords and Signals

  • Use the safewords: Green (Continue), Yellow (Pause/adjust), Red (Stop immediately)
  • Non-verbal safeword: Tap Tap Tap = "Yellow"
  • All play must stop immediately if someone uses "Red" or "Safeword".

3. Before & During Events

  • Let new attendees know what to expect—no surprises.
  • Talk to your partners beforehand about boundaries.
  • Respect designated play/non-play areas.
  • Only engage in play in designated areas.
  • Ask before engaging in rough activities or taking/uploading photos.
  • Handle disagreements privately and respectfully.
  • Check in with partners after the event.

III. Online Code of Conduct

1. General Rules

  • No spamming or posting duplicate/malicious content.
  • No malware or copyrighted material without permission.
  • No unsolicited advertising, unless permitted (e.g., own sales, vendor info, relevant links).
  • Ads must not disrupt conversation and should be pet play-related.

2. Media and Content Guidelines

  • Do not post private content without consent.
  • AI-generated content is not allowed.
  • Political and religious discussion is limited to #Serious-Talk.
  • No discussion or depictions of suicide/self-harm (reach out privately for support).
  • Prohibited: blood, scat, bestiality, cutting, rape, assault, sexual activity involving minors*.
  • * This does not mean ABDL; however, art/animation depicting an anthropomorphic being who could be interpreted as a minor is prohibited.

IV. Roles & Responsibilities

Board Members

  • Can remove someone from events
  • Handle feedback, policy, and inter-community relationships
  • Decide on permanent bans with a majority vote

Dungeon Masters

  • Can interrupt or stop scenes and remove participants
  • Final say during events
  • Ensure safety of equipment and play areas

Hosts

  • Can set venue-specific rules and remove people
  • Can permanently ban from venues they control
  • Ensure venue safety and accessibility

Moderators

  • Manage online spaces: remove posts, disable comments, temporary bans (12 hrs–7 days)
  • Cannot permanently ban or edit posts
  • Escalate serious issues to the board

V. Enforcement

In the event of an incident involving multiple people, everyone involved will be temporarily banned for 24 hours, regardless of who started it or who was right or wrong.
